How do you install a window on a 77' Chevy Malibu?

You have to remove the door trim on the inside of the door. Also remove the window crank handle if it is manual windows.

1. remove the window regulator by unbolting the regulator from the door shell and sliding the window guide arms out of the window channels.

2. You then remove either side or both sides of the vertical window channel that the window goes up and down on.

3. Finally, most of the time you need to remove the window rubber seal that runs horizontally along the bottom of the window opening to get the glass and the regulator channel that is attached to the glass out of the door.
