i have a 1991 caprice. i imagine the method is fairly similar first take all the screws out of the facia board. (wood paneling) next "carefully" remove the whole facia. (you don't want to crack it) this will give you full access to your radio assembly, you will probably need to purchase a mounting kit for the radio itself. (available at any audio shop, Walmart, best buy etc.)
how do you install a aftermarket radio in 1986 caprice
It's pretty easy, but then again my dad told me how. Remove the ashtray from it's holder, you will then see a bolt that is holding the radio down. Remove the bolt and pull the radio out through the front, then disconnect the wires.
thru the wheel well.take out the liner.
Bookstores and auto part retailers sell books on how to fix issues in a vehicle. Installing a starter on a 1987 Chevy Caprice can be found in the books.
There is no timing belt on a 305 unless it is an aftermarket belt drive system.
Door panels for a 1975 Chevy Caprice Classic 2 door might be found in a salvage yard. Rock Auto is also a good source for aftermarket parts for most vehicles.
No, unless you want to install aftermarket free wheeling hubs on it.
No
You can probably only get to 2 or 3 plugs from the top, but the rest you have to get from underneath the vehicle.
Purchase an aftermarket cooler and follow the instructions included with the kit.
No. If you are looking to install a amplifier, either install an aftermarket head unit or buy an amp that has speaker level inputs.
Nowhere, as there is no such thing as a 2002 Chevy Caprice.
