Um, are you trying to install cruise on a car that didn't come from the factory with it? Or are you trying to replace/repair an existent system?

If memory serves, there isn't one. All that switching is done at the turn signal/low highbeam/cruise control stalk.
It is possible to convert a car without cruise control to have cruise control. Many auto parts stores sell kits which will install cruise control in a vehicle.
You probably need to install a new cruise control component.

Remove the battery and the cruise control actuator. The starter has two bolts holding it in. Remove the bolts and wiring, then install the new starter. Re-install the cruise control and battery.

There are many aftermarket kits available with everything you need including instructions. Just Google "aftermarket cruise control kits for Chevy".
my advise would to be have somne one do it for you as u can mess alot of stuff up and install a virus
