***SUM'S Answer***- It has 4 speakers overall. The front two door speakers are 4x6 and the rear are 6x9.
The two front speakers are 3.5" and the two rear speakers are 6"x9"
it is a 97 saturn There is a very small clip holding the window handle on. A special tool is required for removal.
1. Remove the plastic cover in the interior door handle. with a flathead. 2. Remove the screw. unhook the the release rod from the door handle. 3. go along the interior and pry it open, then pull out. Now you have access to the front door speakers. That's all I can remember when I did mine.

That really depends on the kind of car you have, but you should be able to go in through the rear armrests and plug the rear speakers into the old front speakers. Most people have speakers in both the front and back of their cars. The order of installation is not important, just have it done the most convenient way for you. You could even omit the front speakers entirely if you wished. Electronically it does not matter.
4x6's in the front doors and 6x9's in the rear deck. You can install 6.5" speakers in the front doors with a simple adaptor plate. You can purchase it in most car stereo stores for about 12 bucks.
I recommend going Crutchfield.com as they have instructions on how to install speakers in most cars.
Just grab the grill that covers them, and give them a tug. They should pop right off. Then 2 7mm screws hold the speakers in.
For the front speakers you need to take off the dash pad and the rear speakers you need to take off the rear speaker panels.
I have a 2007 sonata and it has 6.5 in speakers front and rear. The tweeter appears to be 3/4". You can install 5.25 speakers with the proper adapter ring.

Through the top, you need a short handle screwsriver.
First you take out the old speakers if you have them.Then you put the speakers in the back because in the front there are too many wires.You plug it in and you are good to go.
