Is that a question?
Buy a new one and install it.
When does an oil cooler work? When air is blowing through it. When is the oil too hot? When it is idling in heavy traffic. That is the reason HD doesn't install oil coolers on Harleys, though they will sell anything that you will buy, as that is the business they are in.
Already has one installed from the factory. Fancy aren't they?
not exatly sure but my relocation kit is setup to my oil cooler. Buy the relo kit, fit adaption plate to where oil filter is. Run one line from original oil filter to oil cooler, the other one from original oil filter to the new filter, wherever u choose to relocate it. Then one from the new filter back to the cooler.
It depens on the size of the oil cooler.
it cools oil by circulating it thru an external cooler and works on the same principle as your radiator hot oil flows thru the cooler and is cooled by air thus "oil cooler"
