Normally rear shocks is an easy job on most cars, except for the crown. The lower bolts are easy to take off, it's the top nut. When the car is up on blocks or jack stands wheel's off, you can see the top nut on the shock, just between the frame and body. Not really much room. You will have to cut the shaft or the nut with a torch. Unless you are able to clamp the shock shaft with vise grips and use a wrench to remove the nut If you have air suspension the plastic air line runs very close to the top of the shocks and therefor might get burnt, so if you use a torch be very careful or you will have to replace the plastic air line. With the frame of the car on the jack stands, the axel must be supported while you remove the shocks, otherwise the axle could drop to the floor and you will have unneccessary damage. Also, if you do have air ride, you must turn off the breaker for the air pump located in the trunk, right side before you jack the car up. If you do use a torch, you must have a water hose supply in hand, the rubber supports for the shock will lite up. If you find this a big job, maybe you can find a service shop to do the job. They will take an hour's labor to get the job done. Good shocks will cost you around $ 100.00 give or take.
