1. First, you need to find a texture pack you like. I recommend looking at the list on a topic on the minecraft Forum. The link is under "Sources and related links" below this answer.
2. When you find one you like, click [Download Texture Pack - Beta 1.3] (if that is crossed out, choose updated fan version)
The next steps are a bit different from pack to pack, but it works like this on most of them.
If you are using Google chrome the next step is easy
3. Once the file has fully downloaded, right click it and choose "Show in folder"
If you're not using Google Chrome: find the Texture packs name in your download folder on your computer
4. For the next step, open up Minecraft. Click mods and texturepacks, then in the bottom left it should say something along the lines of "Show texture pack folder"
5. Now drag the texture back from your downloads folder to your texture pack folder.
Now you can close the two folders, choose your texture pack, and enjoy your new look.
ok well first you just download it on any internet browser and go to your downloads in the options.. then you find the texture pack you downloaded and open .minecraft folder (if you know how if not YouTube it :P) open texture packs and drag the file in a zip folder into the texturepack folder. tada run minecraft and go to mods and texture packs
1) find a texture pack on a website
2) download it and keep it in the .zip format.
3) put it in your minecraft texturepack folder. (you can find this folder by typingin the search bar from pressing the windows key. navigate to .minecraft
and find texturepacks and drop the .zip in there.)
Scroll down and click on "Texture packs."
Texture packs are absolutly free, just search minecraft texture packs, and you can download one.
find the texture pack you want then download it and put it in the texture packs folder that it shows you on the textures packs screen on minecraft.

you can download texture packs from minecraftforum.net or sites like planet minecraft, and just search for a texture pack. :D(p.s. I prefer the faithful pack)

If You Want To Get Texture Packs For Minecraft, You Can Search A Texture Pack In Google And Download The Texture Pack File And Press Your Start Button On The Screen, And Search Or Press 'Run' For Some Computers And Look For '%appdata%' And Go To .Minecraft And Go To Texture Packs And Put Your File In There. Then Open Minecraft And Appear!
Simply download the texture pack and place the zip file in the texturepacks folder in the .minecraft directory
