You don't have your tongue in the right position. Put the belt on the drum and motor and pull the tensioner pully over to install it there.
The main drum bearing is gone-resulting in the drum drooping. If this is the case, the machine should likely make a heck of a racket when cycling.
drum capacity for matytag washer model # LAT9416AAE
That code trips when the controller wants to spin the drum but the tachometer says it isnt moving, could be a bad wire connection, a piece of clothing stuck in the drum, or worst case scenario a burned out drum bearing.
The drum is not moving
The capacity of a Maytag Atlantis MAV7600AWW is 3.2 DOE. It also offers many options such as pre wash, extra rinse and wash temp selection.
I calculate it to be 8.0 cu ft. 26.5 inch diameter drum that is 25 inches deep.
You're gonna need a flat head screwdriver, flashlight and a can of Raid. Get access to the back of the Maytag "HYE2460AYW" Dryer. Just under the control panel you will two hinges, one on left, one on the right. Remove these screws. You will now be able to open the top of the dryer, as if it were talking to you. Have someone help you hold open the top or prop it open wisely! You are now inside. On the inside you will need to remove two screws located on both left and right upper front corners. Note the white wire on the right side. These screws are holding the front of your dryer (door included) to the other three sides. Once both screws are removed cautiously set aside the front keeping mind of the white wire. You now have complete access to the guts of your dryer. To replace the belt, you need to wrap the belt around the dryer drum and the motor found under the drum. Screw screws into their proper holes. Done.
There could be several reasons-motor burned out, idler pulley that keeps tension on the belt could be worn out, belt off track or broken, drum rollers worn out or the felt pads around the front of the drum worn out.
First, remove the drive belt and the drive belt tensioner. Unscrew the three nuts and three bolts to remove the outer engine's front cover. Remove the RH splash shield, the bolt, and the crankshaft pulley. Align the timing marks and then remove the old timing belt. Install the new timing belt and then repeat the steps in reverse.
Belt is probably broken. Many dryers have fan either directly connected to the motor or on separate motor. Fan may be pulling in the hot air, but belt is broken, so motor is not turning the drum.
um i have no idea...
