♦Instead of writing out a step by step here is one of the easiest ways to start your project. Haynes sells a repair manual at just about all retail auto parts stores. The books range from $15 to $20 and are very useful for D.I.Y. repairs.
Pick up the Haynes General Motors book 38026. Go to page 11-14 section 18 and it will go through the procedure step by step with pictures.
I usually end up with these books along with the more detailed Chilton's for just about every car I have owned over the past 20 years and have found them to be worth every penny passing them on when I sell the cars later.

I haven't done lately, but for most GM vehicles of that time period you do this: 1-Remove interior door trim. 2-Unplug window motor. 3-Remove the two bolts or nuts (10 mm head) attaching the glass to the regulator. 4-Slide the glass about 2/3 of the way down, tip it forward, and slide it out of the door. 5-Remove the four bolts (10 mm head) holding the regulator to the door. 6-Reverse the process using the new regulator.
