I wouldn't since the frame is designed to absorb impact rather than resist impact which is best for towing. You will have very limited tow capacity, 3000lb per Edmunds.com. Pickups and other full frame rear-wheel, four-wheel, and all-wheel drive vehicles make much better towing vehicles. I have heard that dealerships even have issues putting these tow hitches on the MPV; probably because they are trying to secure it, and there's no meat to the frame. Once you have it on, be careful. A base model 2004 Chevy Silverado has 8500lb of towing power compaed to your 3K. You should not tow another vehicle or anything heavy.
Install a receiver on the truck and then purchase a drop hitch of your choice. Receiver will cost you around $125 and the drop hitch around $35 with ball. A receiver type hitch is the only way to go. Towing off the bumper is a bad idea.
Don't that's stupid
Take it to Motion Performance !! Hehehe :)

I have a 2006 Pilot, and after research, wound up buying a 2" hitch from U-haul. (It was the same model as that from a hitch manufacturer, but I can't recall the manufacturer.) You can install it yourself. Look under the back of the Pilot first to see (and verify) which bolt holes you will use. Mine used six on the frame - 3 on each side. I had to tap a number of the holes to get the bolts on the threads, since the holes were not covered, and had a lot of dirt in them. To attach bikes, you don't need the expensive hitch (and hitch installation) from Honda, since that includes wiring for trailer brake lights. I bought a 2" Swingman 3 bike platform type rack over the internet for the bikes. As I recall, the hitch and the rack were about $250 apiece.
My 04 Silverado is a 2500HD and it is equipped with a class IV hitch.
