i have a 2001 pontiac sunfire antitheft problem will not start anttheft light flashs on dash i can turn motor over buy jump starter but will not start
Jump starting a Pontiac include jumper cables and another vehicle with a battery. A person will need to put jumper cables on each car battery to jump start it.
I'd suspect the alternator. You can have it checked at most any of the chain parts stores. FriPilot
I have to jump start my Pontiac Bonneville 1988 everyday I drive it why is that.
Replace the fuel filter. Spray starter fluid sparingly into the intake while cranking to get it started. i would put gas in it lol and then use starter fluid to jump start the fuel pump
The most efficient way to jump start your Pontiac G5 is to open your trunk with your key pull up the carpet where the spare would go and you will see the battery and attach red to positive and black to ground!
I'm guessing here. You may have toasted something when you jump started the car. Cross fingers and check all fuses. OR, look for a small wire(s) coming from the + battery terminal in addition to the large red cable. It may have come loose or broken. FriPilot
with jumper cables..... once again im not a mechanic , this is just a guess.
Look for pressure switch on top of accumulator/drier normally at the passenger side firewall - jump this switch with paper clip or ? That should pull clutch in
timing belt, out of fuel, fuel pump failure, loss of fire.
No. The fuel pump is what pushes the fuel into the cylinders. If you have no fuel coming into the engine, it won't run no matter what you do.
try not stealing a car.
