Look for pressure switch on top of accumulator/drier normally at the passenger side firewall - jump this switch with paper clip or ? That should pull clutch in
If its anything like my 96 it should have a levar above the mear push the botton and pull it towards the rear
brake drums should pull off if not rusted on.
The oil dipstick is built into the oil filler cap. Unscrew the cap, pull the dipstick out, wipe it dry and reinsert it. Remove it again to read the oil level.
Nothing if the compressor bearings are good. Just unplug the wires at the compressor or pull the fuse. If the compressor is locked up or the bearings are shot, then you need to purchase a belt for a 1997 Pontiac Sunfire that came from the factory without A/C. Install the belt, bypassing the compressor, and just leave the compressor alone.
turn counter - clockwise, if it does not apear to be "threaded" just pull it off.
If the 2002 Pontiac Sunfire works at times and the fuse is causing trouble. There may be a short in the fuse box or electrical system.

I can't tell you precisely, but you'll see it when you pull the inside door panel off to access it.
You'll have to pull the transmission pan, and drain the fluid. This is a messy job. I recommend having it done at the shop if you can.
I can't be 100 % sure as I'm not real familiar with your model, but my earlier Sunfire's bulbs are accessed from inside the trunk, You'll have to pull the carpet away from the body, then twist out the bulb holders.
Did the old radio have any sound? Do you get a strange code on the radio display indicating that you are locked out? You might have to pull the radio back out and make sure that the speaker connection plug is plugged in securely.
It should be the 2.4 in that case they would be under the quad 4 covor on the top of the motor that holds the module and coil pack in it. Just pull the bolts out of that silver covor and pop it off and they will be right there where you can see them but you will need a 6" extention with the socket to pull the old plugs out and don't pull them out while the engine is hot.
