whenu pop your hood on ur car u should find a little red cap on the right hand side just up form ur washer tank u flip that little cap up and hook ur positive cable to that bolt and the neg cable to any open spot on the motor and away u go

It is located under the hood on drivers side but well hidden under windshield washer tank. You have to remove a cross bar from fender and then remove washer tank. If you need access for jump start, they provided a terminal with a RED boot located near the washer tank. Hope this will help.

1997 Cutlass Supreme, not Cutlass, battery is hidden under molded washer fluid tank. Not easily accessible. GM was nice enough to provide a red + secondary terminal to jump to above the battery. Sears will change the battery included in the price of a Diehard Gold - which was my solution. It will take them longer than a normal battery chance. Or service shop that includes "free" labor with purchase of battery. Short version - not worth doing yourself.
