1997 Cutlass Supreme, not Cutlass, battery is hidden under molded washer fluid tank. Not easily accessible. GM was nice enough to provide a red + secondary terminal to jump to above the battery. Sears will change the battery included in the price of a Diehard Gold - which was my solution. It will take them longer than a normal battery chance. Or service shop that includes "free" labor with purchase of battery. Short version - not worth doing yourself.
