In the Guitar Hero game series as well as on an actual guitar, "Tapping" is the name given to the technique of bringing the strumming hand up to the guitar's fretboard and using it to assist in playing, usually during sections of songs that would be difficult or impossible to play using only one hand. The player must have a great deal of skill in order to use this technique with any sort of accuracy, since moving the strumming hand away from the strum bar greatly decreases one's ability to make a swift recovery should the player miss a note and break his or her streak. With the strumming hand occupied at the fretboard, the preferred implement for strumming changes from the hand to the elbow, which, imaginably, is usually not as precise. Notable songs in the Guitar Hero series that encourage tapping: --"Jordan" by Buckethead, a song with a lengthy solo at 32nd speed that is difficult to pass and considered impossible to play perfectly without tapping --"Because, It's Midnite" by Limozeen, a song with a brief-yet-dense solo with several extended trills, zigzags, and descending patterns at 32nd speed --"Raining Blood" by Slayer, a song with an end solo which contains trills of undisclosed BPM speed but at a BPM speed very similar to that of Because, It's Midnite and Jordan --"Through the Fire and Flames" by Dragonforce, a song which immediately launches players into an intro which strongly encourages tapping in order to pass and can cause players to fail the song at 0% completion if they are not prepared; the song also contains a multitude of solos at a high BPM speed including a sequence with 32nd notes that has the greatest note density of any song section in all of Guitar Hero--this sequence has been dubbed by hardcore players the "Red Snake"
Tapping- you hit the first not of a hammeron or pulloff series, take your hand off the strum bar and bring it up to the frets. takes alot of coordination. try in practice first with slowed down speed
Just put in the thing that goes into the ps2 and switch the button on on the guitar
well, that'd have to be a cheat, either way, there isn't a way to do that
Music notes You have to tap the colour fret, and strum to hit 'em
I would assume (because there are so little notes to hit on Guitar Hero) that real guitar would be much harder.
yes people play guitar hero better with the guitar its the whole point of the game and its easier to hit the notes with your fingers and you get a better feel for the game
Yes. All you need to do is when the 'Slider notes' start to pass you just hit the right fret. It will automatically strum just as if you were using the slider. The Guitar Hero: World Tour guitars can do the same thing, but have the option of using the slider. Zepworth: A guitar hero 3 controller will not work with guitar hero 4. the sensitive thing doesnt matter you can touch the notes.
the notes that are glowing are hammer ons.to do a hammer on you hit the note before it then just push the fret button
Try strumming up at down, and enter practice mode to figure out the speed needed to hit all of the notes.
you have to hit all the notes and get the battle power and pray that u win
As long as you hit a decent amount of notes and are good at the game you shouldn't lose.
You can in Guitar Hero World Tour by going into the charactor creator and hit the instrument you want to customize.
You cant if it does have a long note you may have to do a drum roll or hit the symbol so it trails on. =]
Yes, you can use the same guitar, but it won't have the new features on it for World Tour. You won't be able to use the touch-sensitive frets. The only advantages that you get with the touch-sensitive buttons are that you can slide between notes on certain parts of songs without strumming. You can also use slider and tap it instead of strumming on regular notes. However, you can use the regular frets to hit the notes without strumming, as well. But obviously they are not touch sensitive. You would have to play it as normal, but you wouldn't have to strum. Plus you have to get the drums and microphone to play different roles in the band.
easy just pick up the guitar and try and hit at least one note coz he sucks compaired to me :)
