"Stud Horse" would be a male - therefore, they wouldn't have babies. However, they could impregnate a mare if they have access to them. The only way to prevent this would be to keep them apart, have the stallion gelded (remove testicles). Mares can be spayed but this is not commonly done as it is an extensive operation, carrying risk of course, and is also very expensive.
