Sadlly telemarketers are told by the company that these are "leads" but most are from Dun and bradstreet. large companies have gatekeepers to keep the sales calls out. The latest trick is to say you have a confidential business matter to discuss. This would stop if business owners would stop entertaining the telemarketer. If it was not productive then the calls would stop. It is very unlikly that you will save money on anything that was solicited to you. The only real way to stop these calls is to have a residential number and then get on the do not call list. Prepare yourself the next wave on telemarketers are in India and use a predictive dialer it will allow one person on a 10 hour day to call 600 numbers.
