A kitchen mixer, or any small kitchen appliance, can be cleaned with a well wrung out cloth or sponge. Cleaning products may also be used but that would depend on the manufacturers instructions (hopefully you have the booklet that came with the appliance). DO NOT let any water or cleaning product run into or be sprayed into any openings or vents.

Painters clean their paint brushes throughout the day, masons clean their trowles throughout the day so you should expect to clean your mixer lightly throughout the day and a good cleanup at the end of the day.
