Yes actually it can, an example would be if something bad happened and got into a deep depression, and you started harming yourself or other things (like animals). If you think your starting to get a mental disorder get help immediately
if you are interested to know that u have hurt sum1 or not then at first you have to know him or her. how is he or she. you have to know her mental conditions. you have to feel his or her thoughts. if you can do tht then you will surely find tht he or she has got hurt by you or not.
You go to your General Practitioner (the doctor who you see for checkups) and ask for a referral to a psychiatrist. Explain why you think that you should see a psychiatrist. During your appointment with a psychiatrist, tell him/her that you think that you have a personality disorder and explain why. The psychiatrist will either ease your fears by telling you that you don't have a personality disorder or tell you that you have a personality disorder. In the event that you do have one, the psychiatrist will set up appointments to help you with your personality disorder.

No. Anorexia is classified as both a physical and mental disorder, so the mind is aware of what is happening at all times and is mkaing conscious decisions towards becoming anorexic. -- Actually, I've seen girls who didnt know they had a problem for months and months. Anorexia is sneaky where its a mental disorder. Sometimes friends and family see it before the victim does, your right when you realize you've got a problem it's a choice. It's like an addiction in the way it effects the brain, and no one wants to give up their addictions (keep in mind that people with Anorexia are ill)
