Yes. The correct term is venomous, in that a spider carries venom to subdue its prey. It turns out that all true Spiders have venom producing, storing and delivery systems. But only a few spiders pose a real hazard to people. Spider bites put people at risk based mainly on the species of spider involved. The size of the spider is a bit of a factor in that larger spiders (of the same species) can deliver more venom than a smaller spider like it. There is also the factor of the age of the person, with younger people - particularly children - being more vulnerable in many cases. Certainly older people or those with health issues or some Allergies may also be at more of a risk than a "healthy adult" might be. Most spiders don't present real risks to people, but the wise person would learn about the types of spider on his "home turf" that could be dangerous. And he would be clear about how that spider looks and where it likes to live so he could take precautions and live and work confidently. Certainly he would be able to assist any family members or friends by sharing his knowledge, and would "police" his home and work areas (or work with assigned staff at a job site) to insure that it is clear of the dangerous arachnids. Wikipedia has a great introduction to the spider posted at its site, and a link is provided.
I don't believe you can simply tell if they are poisonous or not just by looking at them. If I recall correctly, you have to know how to visually identify a particular species and know if that species is poisonous or not. Depending on where you live, there are only a few poisonous spiders: brown recluse, black widow, yellow sac, hobo, and red legged. If you can identify these and avoid them, you should be OK. I try to avoid all spiders so I don't have to worry about it! I don't know much about spiders but I know that Black widows, the one with the red hour glass symbol is poisonous. Watch out for them. ------------------------ Actually, there's is a very easy way to tell if a spider is poisonous by looking at it. For most venomous spiders, the brighter the color of the spider, the more poisonous the spider is. Of course this does not apply to the Black Widow or the Brown Recluse, but bright spiders (example; bright red, white, almost see-through) naturally carry a type of venom that can get you very sick.
Black Widow spiders are not poisonous, common mistake in terminology. The female Black Widow is very dangerous, and you can easily tell the female due to her very dark black and shiny body with the red hourglass marking on her abdomen. The males are much smaller and not dangerous.
But the female is not poisonous, she is venomous, this may sound like nit picking the difference is quite distinct.
Poison infers to being deadly if ingested, either by secretion of the skin (like a poison dart frog), or something n the body which comes into contact with the skin and absorbs into the blood that way.
Venom is the direct hyperderic injection of toxins into the skin, either by dart from a tail or spine or from a fang, like the Black Widow.

he can climb walls and spin webs and can sense danger
A spider might represent a minor irritation or a serious danger. So the dreamer should consider other details in the dream for hints about a specific meaning. Otherwise, generally speaking, a spider seen on a person would represent a danger to that person.
No a grass spider is not a indoor spider. If you put the parts together you would know that because grass is an outdoor material and a spider is an creature with eight legs so if a you know what a spider is and you know that grass belongs outside then you will figure out that a grass spider is an outsider.
They bite when they feel like they are in danger and when they hunt their prey.
