I came to know that how big inner core and outer core and mantle are by reading the books and by searching on wikipedia.
the earths core is the hottest part of the earth. the metals in the earths outer core is liquid because of the heat and the metals in the earths core is solid but still the earths core is the hottest
The chemical layer of the Earth known as the mantle lies between the crust and the core.
Seismic waves traveling through the inner core go faster than those through the outer core.
The mantle is hotter by a few degrees."The inner core and crust are solid; the outer core and mantle layers are plastic or semi-fluid. The various layers are separated by discontinuities which are evident in SEISMIC DATA; the best known of these is the Mohorovicic discontinuity between the crust and upper mantle." "The core is probably composed mostly of iron (or nickel/iron) though it is possible that some lighter elements may be present, too. Temperatures at the center of the core may be as high as 7500 K, hotter than the surface of the Sun. The lower mantle is probably mostly silicon, magnesium and oxygen with some iron, calcium and aluminum. The upper mantle is mostly olivene and pyroxene (iron/magnesium silicates), calcium and aluminum. We know most of this only from SEISMIC TECHNIQUES; samples from the upper mantle arrive at the surface as lava from VOLCANOES but the majority of the Earth is inaccessible. The crust is primarily quartz (silicon dioxide) and other silicates like feldspar."
In my 7th grade science class, so far I know that the first layer is the Crust, the second is the Lithosphere, the third is the Asthenosphere, the fourth is The Upper Mentle Region, the fifth is The Lower Mantle Region, this next layer is not considered a layer but it is called the Metal Oxide Belt\Region, the sixth is the Outer Core, and the seventh is the Inner Core.
The Earth has 5 layers start from the deepest: Inner core, outer core, inner mantle, outer mantle, crust.

crust,mantle,inner core,and outer corethat's what i know

the way in which the earths core spins is believed to be the source of its
the outer core is above earths solid inner core and below its mantle this is the outer part but not the crust and it would feel pretty warm to go through this area. ok well i hope this helped this is all i know.!:)

The mantle is definately not hotter that the inner core. i know this because we are doing this at school and if the mantle is hotter we could not live on the crust!
The inner core is solid, but the mantle is the only layer of Earth that flows in currents. These currents are caused by convection. If you don't know what convection is then you might as well look it up because I don't have a good definition.
wow this is a stupid question it has the crust mantle core inner core NOT HOLLOW
Volcanoes allow the molten lava from the outer core to pass through weak spots in the mantle.
if you are talking about layers of soil there is a bunch but if you want the generic thing that would be 4 crust, mantle, outer core, and inner core. if you want like the plate layers i dont know how to spell any of them.
