if you are talking about a 3.1 lumina the map sensor vacuum tubing cracking is a big issue first pull vacuum hose off mao sensor sensor is at back of intake manifold against firewall start car and hook a vacuum gauge to vacuum hose to map if it is lower then 15 inches of vacuum more then likely the nylon vacuum tub is cracked. you must reomve intake manifold because the feed hoses are mounted to a network of hoses under manifold you can replace all hose while you are there map conrols fuel and air mixture low vacuum to map will cause rough idle black smoke poor fuel milage and taipipe smells rich with gas let me know if you need to go further

most small block Chevy trucks have used a dark green wire since around 1967 for the temp sensor on the side of the head, this went till at least 1995
Green is the hot wire for my 2004 Chevy Colorado.
front driver-side near manifold and spark-plug single green wire
It would help to know the year, But I would say that it is the knock sensor wire and it should be pluged into the knock sensor that is screewed into the side of the engine block just in front of the starter.
driver side cylinder head between spark plugsdark green wire to itthis is for the guage or light, in dash
I hate to answer a question with another question, but what do you mean... How do I wire it?
i like to know what wire it is if any one knows email it to me tduckworth422@yahoo.com thanks

Depending on the vehicle, either one of the cylinder heads, or, in the intake manifold, near the thermostat. The wire running to it, if original, from the firewall, will be green.
The speed sensor wire for a 2004 Toyota Sequoia is behind the glove box. The speed sensor wire is orange/green.
That is the anti locking brake sensor / wheel speed sensor
