Before about six weeks of age, a male cat's testicles have not descended and it can be difficult to tell whether you're looking at a male or s female. At six to ten weeks, testicles should be visible on the male.
With kittens, this method can be used to identify the gender:
First, lift the tail. You'll see two openings on both male and female. The upper opening on both is the anus. For the female, the lower opening is the vagina and appears as a vertical slit, placed very close to the anus. For the male, the lower opening hides the penis and is rounder, located roughly a half inch below the anus.
You know because you turn the cat over and if it has a penis and testicles, it's male.
You know it by balls.
Well you would like to know that because you want to know if the cat is going to get pregnant or get another cat pregnant....
anywhere. go to your local pound and look. you never know now where a cat could be....
A male cat is called a Tom cat.
same way as humans and if you dont know that you are too young to be asking
A male cat is usually referred to as a "Tom".
"Tom cat" is a term used for a male cat, usually the dominant male in a group. It is also used to refer to any stray or feral male cat.
The male has ballsacks right below his anus. The female does not.
As far as I know, it is very rare.
You shouldn't need or want to.
A male cat is traditionally called a "tom cat".
I know it is more than a male cat. I payed $65 to have Miss Kitty spayed.
A male cat is also called a tom cat.
