Generally a motherboard doesn't get "corrupted," though the asker might have meant "corroded" or simply damaged instead. A motherboard can get damaged due to age. When that occurs, you will likely be able to look at it and tell. You may notice that some of the traces are corroded. There may be signs of chemical leakage. The capacitors (look like little cans) may be bulging, leaking, or exploded. Other bad signs would be cracked or burned ICs, foul odor, insects (mainly cockroaches), insect parts, and insect or rodent waste. Insect dung can cause corrosion, and in severe cases of corrosion, some of the circuit traces might be missing.

If you mean the BIOS, yes, it can get corrupted. There is CMOS corruption, and you will know it because it tends to give an error message shortly after turning on the PC. You may have to replace the CMOS battery, and you will have to check and change the settings. If you mean corruption of the BIOS code itself, then the computer will usually appear dead. You will know this if you tried to flash the system ROM and it didn't work correctly or you lost power during the process. Then the computer likely won't have a display, and the machine might keep rebooting.

What will you do if your PSP is on but the screen is not?

That sounds like the symptom of a bricked PSP where the firmware that boots the PSP has been corrupted. There is not a lot an end user can do when this happens. They either have to order and install a new motherboard, or send it to Sony for repairs.

You can find the motherboard model no. on the motherboard itself. It is always written on the motherboard. Your PC turns on and gets to the loading page but then restarts again?

Either your operating system is corrupted (hard drive might be broken), you memory module is broken or your motherboard is broken. You can try to remove memory units if your computer has multiple to see if one of them is broken. Then you might want to try to reinstall your operating system. Finally you should try to find out if your motherboard is broken, and replace it. Replacing your motherboard will probably force you to reinstall your operating system anyway.
