You dont always know if a website can give you a virus. You can get viruses off any website. Like facebook, msn or twitter, you recive messages with links and if you click on them you are accepting a virus into your computer. Mosly free online websites carry viruses, or websites with bad security. If you get your laptop/ipod/computer/phone etc. you should put a high security system on it and it will help prevent viruses and tell you what is not safe to go on. If you get a virus you should go to a technologs shop like a computer/phone store to get it fixed.
You never know where theres a virus, but if something pops-up, always exit it. Never click cancel or accept, just click the 'x' at the top of the screan.
Hope this helped you =]
You can check to see if your computer has a virus by installing and running anti-virus software. The software should be set to run a scan every day during times the computer is not normally being used. There is hundreds of anti-virus programs to choose from.
Computer virus software companies provide online web scanning tools for websites. AVG LinkScanner allows you to drop in the URL, press scan then wait for the results.
