If there is no fuel pressure and the fuel pump circuit, fuse and relay checks okay.
The theft deterrent system will not work.
can a fuel relay fuse make car not start? If the fuse or the relay is bad, yes.
A fuel pump pressure test could determine the condition of the fuel pump and fuel system.
Possibly fuel filter, fuel pump, fuse (but if the fuse went it's probably a bad pump) relay, out of fuel, bad electrical connection...
Bad fuel pump, blown fuel pump fuse, bad fuel pump relay, or clogged filter.
Fuel pump inertia switch tripped ( located in right front passenger footwell , by the kick panel ) should display fuel reset in gauge cluster if the switch is tripped ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In the POWER DISTRIBUTION BOX in the engine compartment ( Ford recommends disconnecting your battery cables before servicing anything in the PD BOX because it's " live " ) Bad fuse - fuse # 3 is a 20 amp maxi fuse for the fuel system , anti - theft system Bad relay - relay # 6 is the fuel pump relay Wiring problem Bad fuel pump
I don't know if there is a relay for the fuel pump, let alone where it would be located, but if you're having a problem with the fuel system one thing you may wish to check is the fuel pump itself. Inside the fuel tank, there is a little rubber hose that connects the fuel pump to the metal outlet tube and they can go bad. If this hose goes bad, the engine acts as if the fuel pump isn't working. You would have to drop the fuel tank to check it, but if you don't get any other answers to your question, this may be a good place for you to start. The fuse relay is behind the fuse block left side of Dash - plugged in behind the fuse panel ALSO CHECK FUSE IN FUSE BOX.
Don't know about the fuse, but the most likely cause for your fuel gauge to quit working is a bad sender unit. You are going to have to drop the tank and replace the whole fuel pump assembly (you can't buy the sender by itself) Don't know about the fuse, but the most likely cause for your fuel gauge to quit working is a bad sender unit. You check for power at the pump. If you have power and ground, the pump is bad. If no, then you need to check the wiring including the fuse.
There could be any number of problems causing a no start condition. No fuel, no spark, bad timing, clogged fuel filter, bad fuel pump, ECM bad, ECM fuse bad, Ignition fuse bad.... Too many to list.
