If you stand it up vertically and look at the top there should be a raised bit and there will be a metal stripe down it that says HDD
A hard drive inserts into the top of your console. On the hard drive it tells you how much memory that hard drive contains.
i don't know by:COMPUTER\LAPTOP
Yes, But the new slim version elites have internal hard drives but can be removed. But the original xbox 360 elite model comes with a hard drive which can be used on a arcade console. I know this because I had my elite since the day it came out and the disc reader went out last year and i got a arcade. I placed my hard drive from my elite on it and I have a arcade with the hard drive from the elite.
You can look at amazon.com and game.co.uk websites for Xbox 360 hard drives. Also you can visit ebay.co.uk and play.com websites. By that you will be able to compare the prices between them
Yes,All Xbox 360 With Hard Drive CAN Play Any DVD,Music CD How I Know This..I Have An Xbox 360 60gb And It Works Fine:D , Reiver
Well there's two hard drives the one that is built in or the one that you buy. The one that you can buy which clips onto the xbox if you know what I mean. But if your on about the built in one then yes you need it.
There should be a few accessories that are available on the internet so that you can transfer the memory from the xbox memory card to the computer, and I know for a fact there's a tool to transfer memory from the 360 hard drive to the computer and vice versa. I actually plan to purchase that soon to back up my data. A 120 gb computer hard drive at least would be required for this.
As far as I know, you can't play Halo 2 on a Xbox 360 Arcade. The Xbox 360 Arcade can NOT play regular Xbox games. To play Halo 2 on your 360, you'll either need to: A): Get a Xbox 360 Pro or Elite Hard Drive somehow, or B): Buy a new Xbox 360 Pro or Xbox 360 Elite
The percentage depends on the size of the hard drive. You would need to know the entire size of the hard drive to do the simple math. 4000000kb equals 4Gb.... now if your had a 100gb hard drive, that would add up to 4%.
Well, if we assume that most Xbox games are about 5.7 Gigabytes in size, you could hold about 7 full Xbox games on a 40 Gigabyte hard drive. Click on this link for a size list of most recent games. then you'll know before you go! http://www.stripesonfire.com/nsc/
Yes you can, with the new update Microsoft brought out for the 360, you can burn games you own directly onto the hdd and play them without a game in the drive No you can't. Don't know where this guy got his information from, but I own a Xbox 360 and have my entire library installed on my HDD with the recent update and it won't let me do it. Just tried it by the way.
Firstly, you wouldnt really know when your xbox is going to die. Second, Just wait until your xbox does actually die because if it does, just buy a arcade edition xbox and use your old hard drive.
well there are two ways one is to use a flash drive which is much easyr you know just save it on the drive then hook it up to your xbox port then tell your xbox to rip or copy the file onto the hard drive... the other one is to get a cat-5 cable like the one that goes from the back of a modem to your computer and hook your computer to the xbox and copy it to the xbox
