However, there is a chance that you will fall for a "closet case" -- a guy who is pretending to be straight. These guys tend to make a big fuss about how "straight" they are. They may make homophobic jokes, pick on guys they think are gay, go out of their way to talk about how "disgusting" gay people are. If you get to know these guys before you get intimate, you will probably get a sense that they're keeping something from you, holding something back, that there's a chunk of their life that's "off limits" -- even to you.

if he totally LOVES shopping with you, often stands with his hand limp by his side and elbow raised, if he is concerned with how he is dressed and looks 100% of the time, if he has good fashion sense and everything matches. that's all i can think of ay. hope your bf isn't gay... :/

wrong wrong wrong wrong WRONG! there are many many straight men who do all of these things and more that are considered as mainstream gay atitudes. The simple fact is, you can't know unless they tell you themselves. and if your bf does turn out to be gay, he is still a human being, just like everyone else

Ask him? There's the obvious things like being camp, but this isn't true of all gay people so just ask him.If you have suspicions he's gay then he probably is.
