Almost any engine can be turbocharged. It is the amount of boost you apply that is critical.
you have a belt driven turbo? how old is that car turbos were belt or chain driven when first invented to keep planes in the air. i know of know car with a belt driven turbo
Headers, turbos.
It is a Toyota Supra with twin turbos. A starters car.
This question has no definite answer. Twin turbos add a lot of horse power to a car, however how much is determined on what kind of car and what kind of modifications have already been made.Ê
Two turbos either mounted on the manifolds or in an STS layout.
Yes..i know hahnracecraft.com has them!
B20b or b20z don't really handle turbos that well due to thin walled cylinders.
The turbos can be removed and replaced with an upgrade. So surely you can remove them out and run the car w/o. The question is, why would you want to?
Turbos are used to mostly increase torque which shouldn't cause your car to loose speed. The white smoke is just the exhaust that is thicker due to the increased oxygen- fuel levels that turbos are made for
the fastest car in the world is a thrust SSC which has 2 turbos and runs off of alcohol and sometimes nitro methane. from critter
I'm sure its the same as my 93 300zx which is 9.5psi. However the car can handle about 16-17psi before the turbos run out of breath. Also at around that point the stock injectors get maxed out around 450hp. So to get more that 17psi better turbos and bigger injectors would be needed. Also a big frount mount intercooler and bigger radiator. At that point 600rwhp is attainable.
No. No WRX has twin Turbos!
