When a cats tail is broken it is mostly dragging along the ground. Our cat graycen has a broken tail and it is raw, so if we cut it off it will kill the nerves up his tail, so we will
continue to spray antiseptic on his tail to help it heal, then we will wrap it up so no flies will make it worse. I first suggested to take him to the animal hospital to be treated but no one agreed.
The cat will either not move at all, or only be able to use its front legs. It all depends where the back has been broken and how badly. Sometimes cats show signs of broken backs and it is in fact just nerve damage. Any signs of either you should head to the closest vet immediately.
If your cats leg is broken, they will try act normal but it will be dragging along behind him/her everytime they walk! Don't worry, it is also very treatable by a vet and has a high possibility of them being fine! <3 xx.
Wy would you ask such a sick question as that!

The above answer is not only unhelpful, it is rude. Being like this on the internet is cowardly . I'll bet you wouldn't say that in person. I do not have an answer to this question. I was researching this as a possibility as to why one of my kittens has it's head titled to the side. I have found nothing except answers like the above. I would appreciate anyone who has a real answer as to how to tell if it might be broken or sprained or what it might be.
well usally it will become a bit flopsy and the dog will wine a bit also if you touch the tail or touch near it the dog will wine quite loud
I don't know if this is true of all tail breaks but we once had a stray kitten who arrived at our door with a broken tail and the vet amputated the tail after the point of the break.
cut it off or take your cat to the vet
if you dog dont wag its tail its broken
The possessive form is 'the cat's tail'.
Cats show emotion with their tail. Every cat is different. My cat responds to me with her tail when I talk to her. Only you can tell if your cat is mad or angry when she moves her tail.
its a gecko
If a cat's tail comes off the cat should see a vet. It is important to make sure that the cat does not have an infection.
That means it has no fur on its tail. It is fine. Maybe the cat kept licking its tail until the tail went bald.
A cat's tail can play a role in the cat's balance (though this isn't vital). The cat's tail is also used to show what the cat is feeling. Ever see a cat furiously twitching its tail right before it attacks? That's a good example.
I believe that what happens is that the predator catches the lizard by the tail, and then the tail breaks off and the lizard gets away, leaving the enemy there in awe with a tail dangling from his mouth. :] I believe the tail is mostly dead skin cells, and it can be regrown in a short period of time.
I dont have a cat
A cat's tail gets bushy when frightened or upset.
A cat born with a nubbed tail is usually a Manx breed.
Well, you can buy cat tail at the wizard city bazaar in Olde Town if you don't want to spend time looking for the cat tail. If you do not want buy it, you can search for it. Look in streams and lakes in wizard101. Cat tail is never on land.
Cats move their tail for different reasons. If a cat twitches the tip of its tail, it is relaxed and calm. If a cat waves the tail, they are agitated or mad at you or just bothered and wants to be left alone.
