- At this point in time you can't tell how much your husband loves you considering he is having a relationship with someone else. It is more common than you think that men 40 and up can go through Andropause (like a woman' menopause) and have hormonal changes. This causes some men to realize they are getting older fast and they may feel the need to know that other women are still interested in them. Often it's a younger woman involved and men appear to want to go back to their youth and hang onto it for whatever time they can. This can also happen to some women with younger men. Some husbands realize the young woman they chose is not the one for them after all and may want to come back to their wife. Some leave the other woman and go onto another woman. Time is what will tell the story. Meanwhile, as much as your heart is hurting get a separation and start going out with friends; volunteer; keep busy and start thinking of getting back in the dating circuit yourself. There are times when a husband looks back and see his wife out having fun soon after he leaves and is dating that he may come to his senses. If he doesn't feel this way then it's better you know now than later.

no what this is is you jumped into a relationship (both of you) while neither of you were anywhere near the stable people you need to be. anger issues, infidelity, your messed up passed (or his for that matter) are things that need to be dealt with alone. you have to take care of yourself before you can take care of others. and yes, this is most likely a cycle from your crappy and complicated childhood. why? because its all you have seen. you dont know how to have a normal relationship, and i am going to go out on a limb and say you most likely never have. i suggest you withdraw from your crappy husband, get some therapy for your issues, and start over.
