you know if it's placed correctly if you cannot feel it. if you feel it at all then you didn't push it up far enough. i used a tampon applicator to insert the nuva ring. so it goes up farther.

∙ 11y agoIf you're leaving it in, you're using it properly. There's no right or wrong location - it works no matter where in the vagina it rests. However, most women find it more comfortable to keep it high in the vagina.
