Some rast are hard to tell, as some don't show till a few days before birth. You can either take her to a vet, or wait until she gives birth.

∙ 13y agoYour rat will start to pile up its bedding around (if you have one) its den, it will become very fat (the last day before birth it will look like its going to explode), and it may start storing lots of food and act aggresive towards other rats. Trust me, I have 2 pet rats and one had 10 babies. If your rat is pregnant good luck, the mother will take care of them, all you need to do is keep mama fed, and read up on what to do, can't explain everythimg in one paragraph!

∙ 14y agoYou will be able to tell closer towards the end of their pregnancy. Weight gain is a major sign. You can try to weigh the rat everyday and see if there is significant weight gain.

I had a pet rat who, when we got her from the pet store, was already pregnant. We didn't know this until we had her for a couple days. She kept kidding bigger and bigger until about a week after we had her, she gave birth. Rats are pregnant for 28 days -occassionally they may have them a day or two early or later. So, if you know about when she got pregnant, it'll be around 28 days later.
