If the lining of you stomach has been damaged, then there would be some definite symptoms.
The lining of your stomach protects the stomach wall from the acids and enzymes in your stomach that digest food - its is there so we do not eat ourselves!
Now, firstly, it is very hard to damge. The 'lining' of the stomach is a secreted substance that the acid wears at instead of the stomcah wall, and it is contantly being replaced. It is very unlikely for you to damage the production of this secretion - you would have to seriously upset the inner workings of you system.
But anyway, the symptoms would be quite painful. As you would expect, as the acid wears at the stomach wall, ulsers appear which can be extremely painful and discomforting.
So, if you have alot of pain coming from your stomach, especially when you eat or apply pressure to the region, then you should go and consult your GP.

The leftover of your lunch ;D The stomach, as an organ, doesn't have a term to refer to the inside of it, as far as I know. In conversation, 'the inside of the stomach' will usually suffice in describing the inside of the stomach. Hardly detailed, but meh.

their stomachs hurt (like a stomach ache) and they have red (like blood) in their underwear........
the stomach lining is made up of a histological layer (tissue layer) called "mucosa". as we gather from the name the layer constitutes mainly of mucous. the stomach is a site for churning and digestion of food with the help of enzymes like pepsin and hydrochloric acid (HCl). this acid can also harm the stomach muscles causing lesions which we popularly know as "peptic ulcers". the mucosa layer prevents the stomach muscles from coming in contact with the acid thus preventing the occurence of ulcers.
Well, sometimes my stomach hurts and i throw up because i eat too much.

The stomach lining secretes a thick layer of mucus that helps protect it from the stomach acid. Aspirin, Motrin, Advil, Aleve, ibuprofen etc (but not Tylenol/ acetominophen) decrease the production of this mucus and so can lead to stomach upset and inflammation and occasionally ulcers.
