A alignment is needed if its pulling to one side. Where as a balance is needed if the car is viberating.
If your car's tires are out of balance it will usually cause a vibration or thumping. If your wheel alignment is out it will usually cause the car to pull to one side.
Tires do not get out of alignment they may be out of balance but not alignment. Your suspension however can be out of alignment. The only way to know for sure is to have it checked.
when they are no longer balanced.
Normally this is caused by one or more of the tires out of balance. If the steering wheel is shaking then you know it is a front tire. Have all your tires rotated and balanced.
At high speed vibration usually its tire balance. Have your tires rotated and balanced.
could be a radial tire pull.. swap the front tires left to right, and it will either go away or go the other way
It is in the way you wheel wear. If you go to tyre centre they will be able to tell you if you need an alignment as they can see the way you tyres are wearing.
No it would be detected by the wear-pattern of your tires. The way they are worn will show you if your wheels are out of alignment. You could have it connected to an alignment machine if your tires still look good and you just want to know, but there will be a charge for that.
Answer the steering wheel will pull to one side or the other when you are driving. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Best way to know is to look at the tread wear pattern on the tires. or simple go to a garage and get the alignment checked out.
it all depends on the suspension or the tires I know for a fact that a bad tire could make the vehicle shake if its warped or out of round or it could be out of balanced or in need of a wheel alignment it just depends on the situation at the time I advise you to check were its coming from either front or back check the tires and the wheels for bent wheels or damaged tires jack the front end of the vehicle and put your hand on the wheels top to bottom if loose check lower control arms and struts then put your hands on the wheel side to side and if it shakes or have play that's another problem
Well first of all they may be crappy tires but other reasons could be as follows: The alignment may be off there is if you look at a tire from the front and turn it either way then that is alignment, if that is off then the tires will wear faster and make noise. It could also be the camber which is where if you look at a tire from the front and lean it to one side or the other then that is camber..if that is off the tires will wear faster too. Take it to a firestone or something and they can check it for you which shouldn't cost anything for the initial check, and if it is an alignment issue then i think its about 70 dollars per axel. I am not sure how to fix camber but i know that they can do it.
Check your tires. The tread should wear evenly. The steering wheel should not "pull to one side or the other." If either of these is not correct then an alignment is needed.
