Ritalin is very controversial and in the past if a child was more active than other children or perhaps disruptive in class Ritalin always came up and handed out to children like candy from a Pez Dispenser. Ritalin is NOT a good drug and the Canadian FDA has put restrictions on this drug. Most of the problem with children may be hyper-active, moody, crying episodes, will not listen to the parent (acts out) etc., is due to TOO MUCH SUGAR! It seems too simple to be true, but generally if you take a child off of ALL foods or drinks that have sugar in them you'll see a great change in your child and for the good! Try it, what do you have to lose. This means no candy, pop, etc. It's tough, but it will help your child. Try a month and if you find your child is still not acting the way he/she should be then see a specialist.
Oh sh*t dude, you need to call poison control right now or you might die!
