All gamepaks sold by retailers are officially licensed by Nintendo so the games are always original however if a person on a website sells the gamepak and does not give information on whether it may have been hacked there are noticeable differences in the program that can be seen for example look at the color schemes if they have any different coloration from the original licensed game you have a hacked game. Various other differences can be seen but for the most part any seller will distribute official games.
