God often directs us in several different ways. 1. Grace builds upon Nature. If a person is of the right age, has no spouse or dependent children, is not in significant debt, and is in very good health, then a vocation to the consecrated religious life may be possible. If a person has significant debt, is not in good health, or has other obligations, especially to young children, then it's not likely that God is calling that person to a consecrated religious life at this time. (Later perhaps.) If a person feels strongly drawn to marriage and having children and a family of one's own, that could be an indicator that God is not calling him or her to the consecrated religious life, but to married life instead. If a person is inclined toward visiting churches, participating in religious exercises, and finds themselves drawn to attending Holy Mass, studying Sacred Scripture, private prayer, meditation, and study of sacred subjects such as philosophy and theology, then God may be calling that person. If, on the other hand, the person doesn't like being in church, isn't much drawn to prayer, or study, or reflecting on the things of God, then this might signal that a call to the religious life isn't there. 2. Sometimes other people may suggest a religious vocation. A young person may be pondering whether they may have "the call", when several relatives, friends, and acquaintances happen to enthusiastically suggest the idea on their own. Sometimes God calls us through others. It is then up to the person himself or herself to prayerfully discern whether other conditions are present, such as those mentioned above and below, that, taken together with their friends' suggestions, might indicate a call to the religious life. 3. Anyone who thinks they may be discerning a possible call to the religious life would do well to confide in their parents as well as in the pastor of their church. Parents know their children well, and often will give good advice and feedback. A person's pastor has special grace from God to help members of the parish to correspond with God's call. Regular friendly and informal meetings and visits with the the pastor would be an excellent idea. 4. Last but not least, is to pray quietly in the silence of one's own heart, and there seek the will of God. It may require many hours of prayer over many months, but sooner or later, there will emerge a clear answer in one's heart.
The four things that God wants you to know are: He loves you unconditionally. He forgives your sins. He has a plan for your life. He is always with you.
Simple....Faith!
it depends if you think God wants you with him or her
Why become a Catholic? Simple: You will come to know God as God truly is, and as God wants to be known and worshiped. In short you will know the Truth and the Truth will set you free.
Whatever God wants you to do.
I believe he wants us to know so we can go to Heaven.
prove it.
no, the world will end when god wants to end it
You should thank God and tell him your problems.
No, God does not necessarily want us to know everything. It is believed that God wants us to seek knowledge and understanding, but also to have faith and trust in Him for things that are beyond our understanding.
EVERYONE is important to God, including you!!!! Why? Because God is the source of all life, and decided to cause you to exist. Because God sent you here with a purpose, something only you can do, and God wants you to fulfill your reason for being here. Because you are created in God's image and likeness. Because God knows you better even than you know yourself, and loves you more than you will ever know. Because God desires relationship with you; God wants to be known as a loving Parent and a Friend.
Yes, angels do know God's word, because God's word is God's divine will, and in order to execute his will as his messengers, they must be informed of what God wants. Further proof that angels know God's word is the mission of the fallen angels. They cannot deceive believers by twisting God's word if they have not studied it, a perfect example being Satan in the garden of Eden with Eve, and his deception with the Tree of Knowledge.
