The 1996 Yamaha 1100 has a low oil warning light, in the instrument panel. The motor oil dipstick has a low oil mark.
Number one cylinder is the rear one. Why, I don't know but that's what I've been told by a Yamaha mechanic
good question, how can you find instructions on this, i have same problem with a 91 xv750 and a 95 virago xv1100 . i dont know if the whole rebuild is done in the bowl by the float. or if you have to take apart the to also good question, how can you find instructions on this, i have same problem with a 91 xv750 and a 95 virago xv1100 . i dont know if the whole rebuild is done in the bowl by the float. or if you have to take apart the to also
I have a marago 750 lol. I didn't know it but my maxim 82 750 had the shocks, calipers, rear tire and possibly tree of a virago. I discovered it when getting break pads.
As far as I know, there was no Virago 1110; I suppose you're referring to the Virago XV1100. I don't have it's factory manual, but the Clymer service manual covers it, and according to that the spark gap should be 0.7-0.8 mm, as with most of these bikes. Actually, the required plugs (NGK BP7ES or BPR7ES, depending on who do you trust - the difference is an incorporated series resistor in the "R" plug) seem to come factory-set to that gap, but it never hurts to check, I guess...
how do you know if your yamaha atv is a 400 or a 450
this is a well known issue, I recommend www.Drpiston.com he is a Virago expert and it explains it well with fixes. Good Luck
In Roman numerals, MC is 1100.
Lol I don't know
I dont know i need to know where the fuses are under the seat of honda shadow 1100 show picture please
not really but when they made the 700 they made fifth gear higher and second gear lower so it out drags the 750 and it will go 125 mph where the 750 would top out at 108. the 700 was already built to get better millage than the 750 and run alot better. so if you do find a way you will risk lossing alot of take off power. i have a an 86 Yamaha virago 700 and i ride with a 2008 Yamaha r6 crouch rocket. i think that bike suprizes him sometimes. hope i helped good luck
Yes. 50:1 ratio. I have two Yamaha's and prefer Yamalube. I know several owners with waverunners that are several years old and they have disengaged the oiler and put in premixed gas.
1100 is the smallest multiple of 100 that is greater than 1000. Every multiple of 100 ends in two zeroes.
