How do you know when to mark your answer edit as a 'minor edit' in WikiAnswers?

Well, there is a little question mark next to the Minor Edit Check Box that explains its purpose and how to use it. If you are not adding content but fixing grammar, you would check that box. Otherwise, you would leave it unchecked as i do when adding content to questions such as these or when I am writing answers to unanswered questions.

The reason an answer might be incorrect is because this is a "Wiki". That means anyone can come and edit it. If you see something 100% incorrect use the flag tool to mark the questions for review.

The other user gets credit for it because a minor edit means that you only made a small change, like changing the spelling or grammar of the answer. If information is added to the answer, then it shouldn't be considered a minor edit.
