It depends on the Laser Tag system you're playing. Often times you know you've been tagged either by a vibration in the pack or a sound effect or voice letting you know you been tagged, or a combination of vibration and sound. Also, you won't be able to fire your laser for a predetermined amount of time after you've been tagged, typically one to five seconds.
