The more common symptoms of lupus are joint and muscle pain, profound fatigue, rashes, fevers, mouth and nose uclers, chest pain when breathing deeply. There is no definitive test. Rheumatologists are the specialists trained in the diagnosis and treatment of lupus.

The most common way to test for Lupus is to get bloodwork in which they test the levels of ANA in your bloodstream.
