There are several changes that occur during ovulation, some women even get cramping like menstrual pain but lighter. You can check for changes in your cervical discharge and take your temperature as your BBT (basal body temp) rises just after ovulation. But these methods can take time as you really need 2keep track of your cycle over several months to begin to correctly identify the signs. IMO the easiest way to know when you are fertile is to use a test kit, clearblue do a good one, which detects hormonal changes in your urine that show you are entering your 'luteal phase' and should attempt conception within 48hrs. In most women this is approx between days eleven and fifteen after last period - first day bleeding would be day one. Hope this helps, good luck!!xxx

If you have no period, unless you are pregnant, it usually means that you have not ovulated this month. Buy an ovulation test kit from your local chemist and it will tell you when you should test for ovulation depending on the length of your cycle. They work exactly the same as a pregnancy test by using a urine sample.

How do you know when you ovulate after giving birth?

You DON'T....it is different for every woman & you CAN get pregnant immediatley after giving birth! After a few cycles your body should be back to the way it was before the pregnancy and your cycle should be about the same & you should ovulate at about the same time you used to in your cycle before having the baby.

How do you know if you are not going to ovulate?

Ovulation occurs when an egg is released from one of the female's ovaries. It is not always possible to know if you are going to ovulate or not. Most women who have a regular menstrual cycle might have some idea of when they are going to ovulate. Ovulation tests are designed to tell you whether or not you are going to ovulate and some women use them when trying to conceive.

Can you conceive if you are not ovulation?

Conception won't occur without an ovum and a sperm. You don't get an ovum unless you ovulate. You won't have a sperm unless...well, you probably know the rest.

Can you get pregnant while you're having irrugular period?

You can. It makes it harder to become pregnant since the cycles are so off balance. But, it is indeed possible. Some women bleed throughout their entire pregnancy and go off to deliever a healthy baby.

How can you find out when you ovulated?

You really can't unless you have regular periods... example: your cycle is always 28 days long. In this case you know you ovulated to the first day of your period. So you don't know until you have your period when you ovulated LAST time. The next month you can count fourteen days from the first day of your period to know the day your probably ovulate. If you are not regular then this does not work. Say you have a 40 day cycle, then you probably ovulate on day 26. Remember that the first day of ovulate on day #1. You can often tell that you are becoming very fertile because your cervical mucus (fluid) becomes very stretchy and (like egg whites) and you can stretch it between your fingers. You might want to also search for ways to chart and take your temperature as that may change throughout the month as well. They do sell ovulation kits. I would not spend much money without having a general idea though. Good luck.

If you have regular periods but have PCOS can you still conceive?

Yes! Having regular periods increases your chance of conceiving. Buy some ovulation predictor kits to know what time is best to have sex.
