Well, for logged in users, it is in the question history as well as the list of user contributions.
For non-logged in users we only know in a general way... more than one person in an area might have a similar IP address, etc. So, we really don't know except if you are logged in, which you have to do in order to get an answer emailed to you.
Even then though, it is just attached to your username, not to you personally, so if someone else uses the same one, we still don't know for sure. Of course, if someone posts something bad, we'll still block the account whether it was the individual who signed up or not... still means the account was being abusive.
Brands can have account on WikiAnswers. Anyone can have an account on WikiAnswers. You cannot use WikiAnswers for spam; it is to be used to only to answer questions for people or ask questions that people may want to know.
People come to Wikianswers to find out questions on stuff they dont know and share their knowledge about stuff they know. It is a mutually beneficial community where you ask what you do not know and help others with things you know by answering their questions.
