Today's kids are a lot smarter than they were 25 years ago. Most young kids by the time they finish puberty have already had sexual encounters of some kind, and it's not like they really know all the answers to the many questions that life offers, but they go for it anyway. You have to learn to let your kids live their lives as they see fit, but it's not easy to do. I know, I'm a parent and now a Grand-father to boot, and when my daughter came home with her first boyfirend I couldn't believe who she'd fallen for, he looked like he hadn't had a bath in ages. I decided right then and there that it was her life to live and if she loved this guy who was I to judge her decisions.
In my way of thinking I led my life as I wanted to, so now you have to let your kids lead their lives as they want to. I'm sure when you were young you didn't always appreciate your parents getting involved in the things you did, so you owe it to your kids to let them go, let them live their lives as they see fit, not as you see it for them and God willing they will always be a part of your life as you did a good job as a parent.
