There are lots of ways. Type in the first year you want. Then in the next cell, type in the next year. Then select both cells. Now drag down and the years will continue to extend.

Another way is to enter your first year, say in cell A2. Then in cell A3 type:

=A2+1

Then copy that formula down.

Another way is to type the year into the first cell. Then select that cell and put the mouse over the fill handle in the bottom right corner. Then press and hold the Ctrl key and you will see a small + appear beside the cursor. Now drag down and the years will extend out.
