On any car or engine, you can always start at the fuel injector or carbourator and follow the line leading to it backwards till you find any part of the fuel system your looking for, including modified ones. This should only take a few minutes and has the advantage of exposing any other things (like pressure regulators, etc) also in the system that may have caused a problem. Uh...this also works from the gas tank and following it forward...or anywhere along the system you want to start!

I have a 1990 Pontiac sunbird and i was only able to find one, it was behind the exhaust manifold on the block. I myself am having problems finding the other. I hope this helps.
Did they replace the MAP sensor? If not, good chance there's your problem.
the fan relay sensor is out of it.
The oil filter on a 1990 Pontiac 6000 is located on the driver's side of the engine compartment. It is on the side of the motor all the way to the rear, near the firewall.
