where is the pcm module located on my 1997 Chevy truck
the tensioner is spring loaded,be very careful. why do you need to loosen it. its all about leverage if you need to remove the belt use a 3/8in ratchet in square hole near bottom of tensioner
use a 3/8 drive ratchet to loosen the tension and take your belt off. Then unbolt the center bolt of the tension assembly and replace with a new unit.
You remove the two bolts from the bottom.
No, sorry.
it has a self tensioner pulley No adjustment required
bolt pattern for these model smaller chevy's is 5x4.75
my 1997 Chevy k1500 well run fine and then it trips fuel pump relay
If they are the same engine, it's highly likely the trans will be the same .
Loosen the tensioner pulley. Put the fan belt around the pulleys. Pry the tensioner pulley to the right until the belt is tight. Tighten the tensioner pulley nut.
Loosen the tensioner bolt on your 1997 Kia alternator. Move the alternator to the left. The alternator belt will become loose and can be replaced.
Remove the fuse or the relay.
