first you need an actual server. basically a powerful computer that can handle lots of data at once. Then you need to put all the game data for online play onto it. then you need lots of other data on top of that. it's very complicated. blizzard doesnt like private servers so could probably get permission to shut u down. im not sure. i dont know exactly because i havent made one but im sure you just need to connect it to the internet and put online data on it. its more expensive than playing the actual game anyway.
