A good way to make a puppy nest is to use resourseful items. If you have a popped inertube or old pillow and towles or even a cardboard box will perfect for your pregnaunt dog.If you choose the popped inertube, put an old pillow or towles under it.The popped inertube will be used as a border, this idea is better for a small dog.If you choose the cardboard box, cut a hole into the box (use your dog in this part).Place your dog infront of the box, with a marker draw where you will cut the opening (when you draw the opening, make sure there is about 2 inches above her head.).After you cut the opening place old towles, blankets, her dog bed, you can even place the popped intertube in it!Afterwards, make sure she likes it.This is ideal for any type of dog.And sometrimes you have nothing to worry about, just place her in a fenced in area and she will dig a hole and have her beautiful puppies!
by having a pregnant dog.
No a dog will not "nest" if it is not pregnant unless something else may be wrong with it so if your dog is nesting i would consult a specialist
yes...because i already have a pregnant dog
Make the puppy dog eyes, simple! xD
Get dog out of nest immediately. Then bring her to the vet as quickly as possible!
A puppy can get jealous of an older dog but dont worry there can be a way like make the puppy be happy with somthing and distract them by somthing that will make them happy and not the older dog jealous.
Yes, but there really isn't a need for it unless you have a bitch who is pregnant. Puppy food tends to have a higher protein content compared to adult dog food. Its better to just feed your dog regular dog food instead of puppy food.
Once a female dog goes into heat they are able to get pregnant.
Your dog might be fat, lazy , or pregnant .
yes dog mature at a different rate than humans
Make sure she is on a high quality puppy food. Even if she is an adult she should eat puppy food because she needs the extra nutrition for all the puppies shes making inside of her.
The dog may still have her puppy even after two hours. You may need to call a vet if the puppy doesn't come after 3-4 hours.
